Answer :  The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice

2.     How AI can be used to achieve SDG? Explain in context of any one SDG.

Answer 1:  AI presents and enhances the understanding to solve vexed and interconnected global challenges. AI plays a significant role in computerising routine tasks, analysing big data, and coming up with intelligent solutions to a number of SD issues.

v AI can play a pivotal role in helping us accomplish the SDGs.

v AI can help us in achieving SDGs by:

·       Collecting data from camera and sensors

·       Analysing big data from various sources

·       Automating tasks

·       Creating smart systems that are intelligent and use self-learning to understand various processes.

 

v AI can prove to be helpful in wildlife conservation too. It can be used to collect data about the animal movements, which can be further used to create wildlife corridors.

v AI power smart systems to help achieve SDGs.

















Answer 2:   The enormous possibilities that open up with AI include automating routine tasks, natural language processing, analysing big data, and bringing intelligence and learning to various processes, expanding the capacity to understand and solve complex, dynamic, and interconnected global challenges, such as the SDGs. However, in order to foster public trust in AI systems, AI regulations and codes of conduct should strike a proper balance between technological progress and people’s right to privacy and human dignity.



Answer 2 (for short question & answer): Although AI-enabled technology can act as a catalyst to achieve the 2030 Agenda, it may also trigger inequalities that may act as inhibitors on SDGs 1, 4, and 5. This duality is reflected in target 1.1, as AI can help to identify areas of poverty and foster international action using satellite images5

Answer:  The two ways in which you can contribute to attainment of SDG 13 are as following:

·       Using Climate Action means with rise in average global temperature i.e average precipitation increases.

·       Using turn to renewable energy to reduce emissions.

4.     Explain how Sustainable Development Goals are interlinked and integrated.

Answer: The three dimensions are interdependent. The level of integration in SDGs is unprecedented, the concept completely adopts all its dimensions, including environment. In order to achieve these goals, it is imperative to understand and address interlinkages between them.

Sustainable development requires a more holistic, coherent, and integrated approach.
